The Dow rose 0.01% to 39,069.20 points; the Nasdaq rose 1.10% to 16,920.79 points; the S & P 500 Index rose 0.70%, to 5,304.71 points. Most popular technology stocks rose, with Tesla and AMD rising more than 3%, and NVIDIA rising more than 2%, setting a record high. Popular Chinese stocks were mixed, with the Nasdaq China Golden Dragon Index down 0.35%.
