[Huaying LNG receiving Terminal Project passed completion acceptance] Guangdong Provincial Department of Transportation recently held a meeting on the completion and acceptance of the supporting wharf project of Huaying LNG receiving terminal project. After the evaluation of the expert group, the project successfully passed the completion and acceptance, and obtained the port operation license on May 7. The construction of Huaying LNG wharf includes a 3-21NetentmegawaysThe LNG berth of .70,000 cubic meters has an annual handling capacity of 6 million tons. In addition, it also includes a berth for liquefied natural gas vessels of 217000 cubic meters, a berth for working vessels, 12.6km of waterways and 1.4km of breakwater. From the start of the breakwater project on September 20, 2021 to the acceptance of the harbor basin dredging project on February 29, 2024, the whole project took two and a half years. In the process of construction, the project team overcame the influence of natural conditions such as monsoon and ocean current, adopted a number of innovative technologies and safety management measures, and overcome the problems encountered in the construction. The Huaying LNG wharf project strictly implements the "three simultaneous" requirements of environmental protection, pays attention to ecological protection and greening, implements environmental compensation measures, and carries out many times of marine environmental monitoring to ensure a friendly ecological environment. After obtaining the port operation license, Huaying will continue to promote the preparatory work for commissioning gas berthing of the first ship of the project, ensure the completion of Sinopec's South China LNG transfer hub as scheduled, and make greater contributions to Sinopec's important strategic growth pole.
